HEALTH HAZARDS (1. Acute and 2. Chronic) 1. According to Primary Skin Irritation Test (FHSA), product concentrate is not considered to be a primary irritant; however, the sample did produce moderate irritation. Eye Irritation Test (FHSA) of sample = not an eye irritant. Product did induce slight conjunctivae irritation. When tested as specified this product was not considered to be a UN/DOT corrosive at 4 hours. 2. None known to Hillyard. Chemical listed as Carcinogen or Potential Carcinogen: National Toxicology Program = No I.A.R.C. Monographs = No OSHA = No HEALTH HAZARD DATA continued Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Concentrate irritating to the skin if not removed promptly. Frequent or prolonged contact with skin may cause moderate irritation or dermatitis. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: None known to manufacturer. Emergency and First Aid Procedures: In case of contact immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists get medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash clothing before reuse.
Precautionary Statements
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled: Floors may become slippery with standing liquid. Rinse spill area with water after pick up with wet vac or mop. Waste Disposal Method: No special method. Observe all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements regarding disposal of non- hazardous materials. Waste from normal product use may be sewered to a public owned treatment works (POTW) in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local pretreatment requirements. Container disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent) then offer clean, dry container for recycling or reconditioning. Precautions To Be Taken In Handling And Storing: Freezing of product may rupture container. Product shelf life is best retained by storage at 45o - 100oF. Other Precautions: Do not take internally. This product contains no reportable quantities of toxic chemicals subject to reporting requirements of Section 313 of SARA Title III Emergency Planning & Community Right to Know Act of 1986 and 40 CFR Part 372.
